Friday Fill-Ins # 139

Gosh!

Time flies really, really fast! It's the weekend once more!

Whew! I almost can't believe it!

And...here we go!

1. He was a person of admirable integrity. You have to take my word for it!

2. Christmas break is what I look forward to most this time of year. It's the only time I can have some real fun and adventure!

3. My best friend is no longer my bestfriend. This is a very sad fact. :-(

4. I always want to be honest with you.

5. Appearances can be deceiving.

6. The last person I gave a hug to was hmmm, I completely forgotten. Forgive me for this amnesia attack, LOL!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to getting some online jobs done and going to bed early, tomorrow my plans include work, what else is new? sigh! and Sunday, I want to have that reflex session! Aching back is killing me!

Friday Fill-Ins # 138

It is now 30 minutes past 9pm of Friday, Philippine time. I just got home from work. It was declared a Non-Working Holiday in celebration of Ninoy Aquino Day. But since we work for the Commission on Elections, we don't enjoy any holidays or Saturdays because we still got to report for work. This is by virtue of COMELEC Resolution No. 8585, which states and I quote in toto:

"For the purposes of the conduct of registration and other administrative functions, all officials and employees of the Commission are hereby authorized to render overtime work during Saturdays and holidays, except Holy Thursday and Good Friday on April 9 and 10, 2009, from 8am to 5pm, effective February 28, 2009 until October 31, 2009. No registration shall be conducted and no overtime services shall be rendered on Sundays".

Though I feel so tired and sleepy I need to have my Friday Fill-In post for this week:

1. I remember, I remember I used to have very short hair.

2. Dear Blogpals I want you to know I am here to stay!

3. Is that my heart speaking through my mind !!???

4. I'm trying to resist the temptation of eating foods rich in cholesterol.

5. I'm saving all of me just for you! ;-)

6. If I made a birthday list a sleek new laptop would definitely be on it!!!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a good night sleep (as always), tomorrow my plans include meeting up with my former co-workers and the boss and Sunday, I want to just stay home and have a good rest! It has been a long week! Sigh!

Friday Fill- Ins #128

I've missed two Friday Fill-In postings because of the two hospital confinements I got last week. Now here's my FFI for this week:

1. I grew up thinking that when one plunges into marriage, it's true love... That's not the case for some.
2. Windmill on the Hill was the last website I was at before coming here.
3. Why don't you mind your own business?
4. Doing a little bit of stretching and some exercises daily since I got out of the hospital helps me relax.
5. Thanks for the prayers for my speedy recovery. It meant a helluva lot to me!
6. Office politics is inevitable but I still find overlapping of power very off-putting. That sure sucks!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to just relax, tomorrow my plans include reporting to work as usual and Sunday, I want to go to the mall after attending the Sunday worship service!

Friday Fill-Ins #125

I've missed doing my FFI posts! It has been a long time! There were quite a few things that has kept me busy but procrastination has really been the culprit, lol! 

Now it's time to get Friday Fill-In rolling! 

1. Moving Lainy's Musings to Wordpress wouldn't have been possible if not for wonderful friends like Dickie and Uncle Che.
2. I wish I could be asthma-free. It is giving me such a hard time breathing. 
3. My best quality is being sensitive to other people's feelings. I often put other people's needs ahead of my own, especially those of my family and close friends and I get personal satisfaction from helping others even if sometimes I take on too much responsibilities and are not always appreciated. I can keep my word as well. Yes! I can be an honorable girl, too! ;-)
4. I don't wanna go into details but I see life as defined by Carl Sandburg- Life is like an onion: You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep. . .
5. In nearly 10 years I hope I could still find the time to blog... 
6. A good and soothing body massage is what I need right now! 
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to just having a good night sleep minus my asthma attack, tomorrow my plans include going to work as usual and Sunday, I want to go buy some stuffs for my brother's birthday come Tuesday!
