Happy Birthday, Baby Ewoks!

Today marks the first birthday of our adorable and cute baby, Ewoks.

Nine months ago I officially welcomed Ewoks as the family's baby when I wrote about him HERE.

He looked like this when he was just 3-month old:

And how worried my Pretty Mama was when I wrote about Tears for Fears. She has cried countless times when she thought she lost Baby Ewoks.

Prior to Ewoks' celebration of birth, my mother has huge plans for him. She wants a big party for our baby. But since everyone were busy, it wasn't possible for us to prepare things beforehand.

So we had to make do with whatever was laid on the table. Mama Dearie bought a small cake and invited Ewoks' friends and playmates in the neighborhood ;-). They were Hangal, Tropix, Onyok, Little Chin-Chin, Tsam- Tsam, Pringy, Teddy, Ratty, Jer-Jer, etc

They were all going gaga when I got home from work. All of Ewoks' visitors were present. Of course, I had to be present for the simple celebration, too. My cousin Ally, who went back home to Manila today, missed the celebration though. However, she was able to greet Ewoks via her phone :-)

To you Ewoks, happy birthday and thank you for making our home's atmosphere vibrant and for always plastering a smile on our faces :-)

Ewoks is Sick and Down!

The family's little baby is not in his normal self the past couple of days. He is the naughtiest baby I have ever met that's why seeing him behaving in the corner of my room is a little way out of the ordinary.

Last month, we brought him to the vet for a checkup. His digestive system got some problems. Good thing he was not advised for confinement. After a month of recuperation from the illness, he's again beginning to feel weak He just sits quietly and doesn't feel like playing anymore.

The entire family was all worried again. Yesterday, he was brought to the vet for the second time in a span of 4 weeks for a general checkup. We were instructed to be very careful with the food we are giving him and we should see to it that he is chewing his food very well. We should serve him the food in bits and pieces so as to make sure that he won't swallow it whole.

This morning, he was up to his feet once more. He loves playing with his toys and with the boys. I can't wait to see him back to his naughty, normal self again!

Get well quick, Baby Ewoks!

Tears for Fears

When humans are displaced by pets, you will know the world is changing rapidly.

It all happened yesterday - very early in the morning when my beautiful mother panicked. She looked very desperate while going in and out of the house looking for our Shih Tzu puppy, Ewoks. He is 6 months old and he has been the family's baby since he arrived.

When groovy Mama failed to find Ewoks inside the house premises, she went berserk and ran all over the neighborhood. You can't imagine how funny she looked, LOL! She went back home, slumped her body on the couch and wept. When I saw her crying, I don't know whether to sympathize with her or just laugh my heart out! But don't misunderstand me. I was as worried as hell too but I wasn't expecting my mother crying if we lose Ewoks.

She was already crying her heart out and between sobs, she kept repeating how much she'll get affected because of the loss. Then out of the blue, along came Ewoks, wagging his tail and kissing her feet! My mother's face immediately went aglow and she hugged him so tightly! I've heard her whisper to Ewoks: "What would my life be like without you?!"

Talk about human displacement? There you go. My two brothers and I are being upstaged by this Shih Tzu. A dog's life ain't a dog's life no more.

Welcome to the Family, Ewoks!

Yes. Cloth diapers really are THAT comfortable. (small graphic) Pictures, Images and Photos

I officially welcome the family's baby here in my blog.

Ewoks is the family's apple of the eye. He has changed our home's atmosphere. You can often see each one of us playing with him or just talking with him. We bought him of the stuffs he need everyday like soap, shampoo, powder, comb, clothes, and he was the first ever user of my hair drier, LOL.

Though Ewoks keeps us all busy cleaning up his sh*t all over the house, we still treat him like a true baby.

Take a look at him taking a pose infront of the camera:

He's not very good looking here after all the running here and there. You should see him after taking his bath, LOL!

Yes siree!

Ewoks is a 3-month old Shih Tzu puppy. He has a very thick silky fur. At first, I really don't want to hold him for the fear that I'll get asthma attacks. But what the heck! Puppy or no puppy, I always have the attacks!

My mother loves him so dearly and she misses him very often. My siblings and I loves to play with him! He is just so adorable! I can't wait to have his hair tied up in pony tail, lol!
