Feeling Sick And Wishing For A Fast Recovery

Being down with flu is something that one doesn't want to wish for. I have been sick since Friday night and on Sunday, I forced myself to get up as early as 3:30 AM to serve my obligations at church. When I got home, I lost all my energy.

I have been more than under the weather till now. It gets really tough to follow through with my blog chores.

Late afternoon, I joined my Mama Dearie to have a relaxing and soothing massage. It did help me to feel reinvigorated but not enough for me to report for work today as I have no choice and cannot take a day's leave of absence.

Anyhow, I was able to survive another day and I hope I will be able to hurdle yet another day tomorrow ;-)

I just would like to mention that the excitement over Lainy's Musings 2nd Blogoversary Celebration has just begun as the prelude to its main celebration on April 26th kicked off with the contest: Why Did the Baby React? 

As of this writing, there are a total of 11 contestants since the contest post was published at 11am today. I look forward for the pouring in of more entries because the main event to the celebration is fast approaching. 

Indeed, it is a true celebration of bloggers for Lainy's Musings and I can't help but get more excited each day. 

Do stand by for more and please be there on April 26, 2010 for the main event.

I Beg Your Pardon

I am still here. Somehow, I am too happy to be infront of the PC once more after a taxing and grueling days at work since Friday. My sked is even tougher today, Sunday. My usual blogging routine which is spent solely for Sundays was spoiled. Yes, I still have to report for work on a Sunday. My daily routine won't be as normal as it is before until the election day is over.

We are currently conducting a training for the General Instructions and PCOS operation for the Board of Election Inspectors (BEI's) who shall be the COMELEC's frontliners come May 10, 2010.

The rotational outages down here made things even more difficult for me. My usual blogging activities were disrupted. I have missed going through my favorite blogs and interacting with them. I will try to keep up though when things get normal and better.

The recent activities at work made it very impossible for me to do all things at the same time. It's a good thing that quite a number of drafts were prepared in my other Blog, Lainy's Musings. All I need to do is hit the publish button.

For now, I ask for your understanding and patience.

Not A Very Good Weekend

I am not in my best state of health since Friday night. I am feeling very ill. I feel nauseated as if I'm going to puke right here and now. I am now having a cough which aggravates my situation because of my asthma. I am basically on a weakened state. 

Good thing one blogger gave me some prescriptions, free online consultation, that is! Hahaha!

Here are some of the medicines that I need to purchase and consume tomorrow: 

• Take Co-amoxiclav 625mg/tab take 1 tab 2x a day for 1 week
  
• Add Ambroxol 30mg/tab take 1 tab three times a day for one week
  
• Gargle with Bactidol. concentrated. 
  
• Nebulize when necessary. 

I am hoping to feel better within the week since I will be out of town a week after next. I will blog about that within the week. 

Despite my condition, there is a need for me to get online. As part of my other blog's (Lainy's Musings) first anniversary celebration, I need to finish some tasks for the Lainy's Hottest Blogoversary Writing Competition: A Bloggers Celebration. I am proceeding to calculate the Math. It will be something a little bit different from what you expect but I will get back to you as soon as the results are done. 

Now, let me move on to do the Math...

Out to Have Fun at the Bikini Open 2009

After the tension the past week has brought me, RE: Contestant disqualification and the efforts of trying to retrieve my other blog, Lainy's Musings, I think yours truly deserves a break. The decision to move Lainy's Musings to Wordpress is a tough one. But I know it's not something that I will have to regret.  The job isn't completely done yet.  I am just too lucky that a very good-natured and good-hearted friend of mine, made all things possible in my behalf. I owe him so much!

Going back to tonight's reason for being out, my mother, who is a known stage mother, can not simply let this event pass without her seeing her own sons performing on stage. Since Kuerdas will be gracing the Bikini Open 2009 which is slated tonight at the Dolores Tropicana Hotel and Beach Resort, mother and daughter tandem are going to watch Kuerdas' performance by the beach.
