Time and Tide Waits For No Man

The election period is not over not until June 9, 2010. There is a prevailing resolution that all organic employees of the Commission are not allowed to file a leave of absence not until June 30, 2010. The good thing is that, we won't be working our a$$e$$ off like we used to. No more overtimes. It means we don't have to report for work on extended hours during weekdays, legal holidays, Saturdays and even Sundays.

That's me  caught in the most compromising situation- feeling so dead tired! 

What a relief it has been!

As you can obviously notice, this blog has almost been idle because of the toxic work schedule. However, I made sure that my other blog, Lainy's Musings is regularly updated- at least one article a day.  I can't  imagine how I was able to juggle blogging and my regular work on a 8-7 basis. .

After the winning local candidates here in GenSan were proclaimed at 8:30 PM of May 12, 2010, I had more time to  be in front of the PC and write stuffs which has been creeping through my head. I haven't been around as frequently as I could and I am trying to make up for my absence.

It's like I am a woman possessed. I have been writing endlessly and hitting the publish button constantly over at my other blog as if there's no tomorrow, LOL! I used to believe a published article needs ample time for exposure before a new post is published. But, taking in mind what my brilliant blogpal Windy told me: 

Time and Tide Waits For No Man. 

So I told myself: The heck with hits and exposure! I will write for as long as I am able to! 

I hope you could all keep up with all the recent published posts. There are still many more to come. Here's hoping that my constant presence isn't that agitating when I get to bare the hurting truths about blogging, LOL!

Feeling Sick And Wishing For A Fast Recovery

Being down with flu is something that one doesn't want to wish for. I have been sick since Friday night and on Sunday, I forced myself to get up as early as 3:30 AM to serve my obligations at church. When I got home, I lost all my energy.

I have been more than under the weather till now. It gets really tough to follow through with my blog chores.

Late afternoon, I joined my Mama Dearie to have a relaxing and soothing massage. It did help me to feel reinvigorated but not enough for me to report for work today as I have no choice and cannot take a day's leave of absence.

Anyhow, I was able to survive another day and I hope I will be able to hurdle yet another day tomorrow ;-)

I just would like to mention that the excitement over Lainy's Musings 2nd Blogoversary Celebration has just begun as the prelude to its main celebration on April 26th kicked off with the contest: Why Did the Baby React? 

As of this writing, there are a total of 11 contestants since the contest post was published at 11am today. I look forward for the pouring in of more entries because the main event to the celebration is fast approaching. 

Indeed, it is a true celebration of bloggers for Lainy's Musings and I can't help but get more excited each day.

Crazy, Busy Week Ahead!

A couple of busy weeks behind me, and so many more weeks ahead.

Meanwhile, another grueling and taxing week awaits ahead of me. The Training of BEI's (Board of Election Inspectors) shall resume today, March 19, 2010 and will end on March 26, 2010. We were once again booked at one hotel here in the City. Though the luxury of the various amenities is available at the hotel, I can't in any way lured by it. Nothing can still beat the comfort of my own room.

I am a person who just loves to be at home and I feel very uncomfortable being away from home. I have managed to sleep at the hotel last week but mind you! I still go home every night and still was able to see my family and our Baby Ewoks who is turning one (1) tomorrow :-)

Anyways, there's definitely no time for me to relax. To relax and unwind is what I want more and more as time goes on. As tired as I am right now, I wonder how much longer I can keep up with this crazy schedule. But I don't see myself quitting as of yet :-)

The toxic week ahead means I will be away from my blogs more often. Thank God there's the ever brilliant Windy who shall keep you entertained at my other blog, Lainy's Musings, while I am away.

Please bear with me and I promise to keep you all posted and interact with you at the blogs once my time permits me.

I Beg Your Pardon

I am still here. Somehow, I am too happy to be infront of the PC once more after a taxing and grueling days at work since Friday. My sked is even tougher today, Sunday. My usual blogging routine which is spent solely for Sundays was spoiled. Yes, I still have to report for work on a Sunday. My daily routine won't be as normal as it is before until the election day is over.

We are currently conducting a training for the General Instructions and PCOS operation for the Board of Election Inspectors (BEI's) who shall be the COMELEC's frontliners come May 10, 2010.

The rotational outages down here made things even more difficult for me. My usual blogging activities were disrupted. I have missed going through my favorite blogs and interacting with them. I will try to keep up though when things get normal and better.

The recent activities at work made it very impossible for me to do all things at the same time. It's a good thing that quite a number of drafts were prepared in my other Blog, Lainy's Musings. All I need to do is hit the publish button.

For now, I ask for your understanding and patience.
