Boston Celtics Claims 17th NBA Title Crushing L.A. Lakers 131-92

The long wait is over. History unfolded for the Boston Celtics after 22 long years! This is the first ever title for the Big Three- Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen. The victory was a blow out with Celtics taking the biggest lead at 43 points with 1:22 minutes left in the fourth quarter via a slam dunk by Tony Allen. Boston Celtics set a record for posting the biggest win margin in the NBA Finals at 39 points.
With the electrifying and deafening cheers of the Boston crowd in green and white shirts, Celtics crushed the Lakers by creating many mismatches all through out the game. The resurgence of the Celtics after losing the game in Game 5 without Kendrick Perkins was a killer and Lakers was held prey by the team's defense which created lots of turnovers.
The Lakers wasn't able to attack Kevin Garnett defensively. Garnett practically dominated the ball game exploding for 26 big points and 14 rebounds to clinch the much awaited victory. Kobe Bryant lacked support from his team mates. He wasn't able to win the game by his lonesome. Paul Pierce, Celtics' team captain, scored 17 points and was rewarded for his effort and loyalty being named the Finals MVP.
