L.A. Lakers is Alive!

L.A. Lakers will live another day. Surviving Game 5 at Laker's homecourt, the Lakers were able to get past Celtics attempts in winning the Championship at the Staples Center today. The homecourt advantage became a true advantage in favor of the Lakers. With the jampacked Staples Center, L.A. Lakers didn't fail the cheering crowd. Kobe Bryant scored 25 big points to force a Game 6 back at Boston on Tuesday night, Wednesday morning, Philippine time.
Nursing with an injury, Kendrick Perkins of the Celtics seated out in Game 5 which Lakers greatly capitalized on and benefited with. Kevin Garnett in foul trouble as well posed big problems for the Celtics. His crucial trip to the free throw line in the fourth quarter could have tied the score but wasn't able make the important shots. Paul Pierce played big with 38 points but wasn't enough to close out their chance in winning the game. Lakers will have its chance again at Game 6 to even the series at 3-3.
