Grateful!

When my father died almost 7 years ago, I was only 23 years old. I was working for a private entity back then. In tough times like death, one is confronted with financial difficulties especially if the family haven't secured any memorial plans and the like. The funeral cost in itself is thing to contend with.

It's a good thing that the former institution that I worked for comes together in moments like that. All employees are required to give a certain amount and that amount is converted into cash. That little amount was put together and was able to help us with a lot of our burial expenses.

I am just too glad that it was implemented in my previous employment.
