Beautiful Cards from Sydney, Australia With Love

After revealing the anniversary presents from My Guapo Prince a few days back, I can't help but show off the cards I've got from him and Mummy C. I was truly touched reading the beautiful messages written on the cards.

To My Beautiful Lainy,

Well done to us! 3 years we have made it and many more to come!
I am lucky cuz I have the best Mahal in the world!
Looking forward to seeing you this year.

MAHAL NA MAHAL KITA ALWAYS!

Your Prince,
Scotty

I must admit I've had erratic heartbeats while reading the card. For awhile there, it felt like I was in heaven. My Prince alone can give me such happiness and a pernicious sense of completeness. It is such a beautiful feeling knowing that the man I love truly accepts me for the person that I am despite the barriers.

What is even more remarkable is that Mummy C has that certain level of fondness for me as his son's girlfriend. My Prince would often tell me that Mummy C likes me for being genuine :-) Now what can I say? I almost couldn't believe it! Mummy C's approval of me meant so much to me more than anything else!

I owe Mummy a lot! If not for her, I wouldn't have a wonderful man to love. I am sincerely all hats-off to her for raising such an admirable son.

This card from Mummy C reads and I quote:

Ellaine,

Special is a word that best describes you...
Special is a word that is used to describe something one-of-a-kind,
like a hug or a sunset or a person who spreads love with a smile or kind gesture.
Special describes people who act from the heart and keep in mind the hearts of others.
Special applies to something that is admired and precious and can never be replaced.
Special is the word that best describes YOU!

Wishing you every happiness for 2010.

Lots of Love, Kisses and Cuddles,
Mummy

P.S.

Hope you like the necklace, fridge magnets, and make-up bag.

Love,
Mummy

You see how sweet Mummy C is? :-)

I am grateful to God Almighty for choosing My Prince to be my boyfriend. We are both aware that we didn't choose each other. God himself in all His glory chose us and My Prince and I have no powers to resist, LOL! The distance and the separation weren't of any problem to us. It's the most wonderful relationship that any girl could dream of!

Anniversary Gifts

Last Saturday, my Prince and I celebrated our 3-year anniversary across the distance. I must say this is just the beginning of our journey to forever.

As early as the first week of December, I have been thinking long and hard on what I should send my Prince for a gift. In fact, the ordeal wasn't only experienced by me but my Prince as well, LOL! He even said that for three years, we've almost sent everything there is to send that is why we are having such a hard time on what to give each other.

My Prince forewarned me not to send expensive gifts. He told me that cards will do but knowing me, he knew that cards wouldn't be enough, hehe!

I wanted to give him simple yet memorable gifts. My co-workers suggested some novelty items and I loved the idea. It's not the first time though that I have sent him items from the Philippines. I have done it on several occasions.

Finally! I was able to think of something ;-)

This is a customized mouse pad. My co-worker and I were searching for some items when we passed by Personal Effects at Robinsons Mall. They have been making items for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, baptismals, anniversaries and etc. The items that caught my fancy were custom mouse pads. It was the first time I saw such items. I chose the layout myself courtesy of an online scrap booking site and the result was shown above.

I also bought him a novelty shirt from Bench showing off the the words: I Love Pinas! And of course! A beautiful card went along with these items.

So simple, aint yeah? ;-)

And oh! My mother sent him an anniversary greeting card , too!

The gifts were sent on the 23rd of December 2009 and was delivered on their doorstep on the 1st of January 2010- eight days before our anniversary :-) Just the way I wanted it.

During the course of my search for the anniversary gifts, I haven't forgotten to buy some stuffs for Mummy Carol. It has been both a tradition by me and My Prince to always send both Mummies some mementos and cards. I bought Mummy a purse and a wallet because I knew how she loves these items. I also bought some fridge magnetic decors made from the Philippines.

And how she loved them all!

Here's our anniversary gifts for each other last year:

FROM ME WITH ALL MY LOVE

Customized Couple Shirt:

Front::

Back:

Pre-made Bracelet:
I'm Yours Forever

FROM MY GUAPO PRINCE WITH LOVE

Guess Wallet

Fan and Jewelry Set

Unfortunately, the fan and jewelry set wasn't for me. It was given by my Prince for my mother, hehe!

I am still awaiting for My Princes' anniversary gifts this year. He bought a purse for my Mom this time around but never disclosed what he bought for me.

Thank you Pictures, Images and Photos

The Birthday Cards

Apart from the beautiful birthday presents I received on my natal day, I've also received birthday cards from My Guapo Prince and Mummy Carol.

Mummy Carol wrote:

Ellaine,

Hope you have a lovely birthday with your family and friends.

Lots of love, kisses, and cuddles,
MUMMY

The card from my Prince reads:

For My Girlfriend,

You're thoughtful and kind
and as beautiful as can be,
You make life so blissful
and happy for me.

Supportive and special,
My very best friend,
You're someone on whom
I can always depend...

You listen, you share,
You're warm-hearted as well
and I love you far more
than those few words can tell!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

My Prince Scotty wrote a personal message and I quote:

Hi Princess Ko!

Wishing you all the best for your 25th birthday, you're not getting old, hehe! Many more birthdays to come and we will be spending them together.

MAHAL NA MAHAL KITA ALWAYS!

Your Guapo Prince,
Scotty

Armageddon in Sydney

Wednesday What It's All About-
(You Gotta To Know) #5

My Prince informed me that there was a huge dust storm in Sydney today. He described it like an Armageddon where the skylight had that reddish/ orange glow. He further told me that the last time they had it was in the 1930's. He wasn't even born yet!

Had I been there, he could envision me coughing and gasping for breath! He said I could even get confined at a hospital because he knew I got asthma and he was just too aware how the dust could worsen my condition. I could play smart though, he said, if I won't report for work, just stay at home and wear a mask so as not to experience breathing difficulties.

My Prince still reported for work today but protected himself by staying inside of the work premises.

I didn't know it was that worst not until I've read online what he told me.

"Dust clouds blowing east from Australia's dry interior — parched even further by the worst drought on record — covered dozens of towns and cities in two states as strong winds snatched up tons of topsoil, threw it high into the sky and carried it hundreds of miles (kilometers).

International flights were diverted from Sydney to other cities — three from New Zealand were turned around altogether — and domestic schedules were thrown into chaos as operations at Sydney Airport were curtailed by unsafe visibility levels. Passenger ferries on the city's famous harbor were also stopped for several hours for safety reasons." (Source Yahoo)

The last time I've heard of Mother Nature's blow at Sydney was the hailstorm last year and it caused some damages to lives and properties of residents including My Sayang's car.

I am just too glad this time my Prince, Mummy Carol and Buzzy were unharmed.

Can't Wait for Next Year!

The new ceiling fan that we've got right now is of big help especially when climate change is taking its toll on us. We have AC but of course we don't use it round the clock. You can just imagine the electric bill if we're going to use it 24/7.

Anyways, temperature in Gensan ranges from 27C- 35C. At night we turn on the AC but when it's cold enough to last till dawn, we turn it off.

I was issuing some warnings to my Prince that it's too humid down here and he might not be able to endure it. He keeps telling me that he's strong and that we must promise him not to treat him like a king when he comes down for a visit. He said he could even sleep on the floor! And he thinks we will allow that?

A few more months of waiting for his visit I think isn't so much of a burden. We originally planned of him visiting the country for two weeks right after my birthday this year but since it would be impossible for me to file a leave of absence for two weeks because things are rather hectic at work, we both decided that it would be better for him to come after the elections in May 10, 2010 and right after Mummy Carol's birthday on May 21.

We both can't wait for next year!

32 Months and Counting!

Wednesday's What It's All About-
(You Gotta Know) #3

Today is another milestone for me and my Prince. Thirty two months ago, I consented to be a girlfriend to the man whom I love dearly. Though circumstances were entirely difficult because of the things that we had to hurdle, we vowed to make this relationship work until the time that we can be physically together.

My Guapo Prince made my day when he sent me a terse but very meaningful email:

Being into a relationship that is separated by distance is never a walk in the park. It's like death in slow motion. The agony of waiting and the agony of being far from each other's arms is making it all the more difficult. But my Prince and I are both aware that it will all be worth the wait. We all have our own time and God's time is perfect.

We have been praying for patience. We both believe that patience is a virtue and it requires a lot of waiting... We both often remind each other: "The greater the sacrifice, the sweeter the prize!"

My life has been blessed with so much when my Prince came into my life. I feel grateful to the Father when My Prince Scotty allowed me to feel the warmth of his love across the great distance that separates us. For 32 months, our love for each other never wavered nor faltered at all. I thank my Sayang for being always there for me, for putting up with all my flaws and imperfections, for taking me through the hardest times. Despite the time that distance brings, or life's little quirks and all other things, I know we have nothing to fear, because we have a Living God who has always been there since Day 1 and He will continue to watch our backs as long as we both entrust everything to Him.

LAINY IS MINE!

My Wishlist!

My birthday is still two months away! I have often wished that I wanted My Prince beside me on whenever I celebrate my birthdays. He actually planned of coming over after my birthday this year. But the thing is, my sked will be rather hectic towards the last quarter of 2009 until election day, May 10, 2010. So he is moving the trip after the elections next year. A few more months of waiting won't be so much of a burden. We both are disappointed but we just had no choice.

Anyways, this year, on top of my wishlist is for me to have a laptop computer I know it would be a little impossible if I won't save enough dime, but who knows?

Well, I better start saving now If I want my wish granted ;-)

Happy Birthday, My Guapo Prince!

My Prince with his elder brother Mark
sporting my anniversary gift shirt with customized text
"Lainy Is Mine!"

I got out of the hospital in time to celebrate My Sayang's birthday. Like in the previous years, his celebration is without me by his side :-( My Prince invited over some family members  and some friends to have dinner at one restaurant in Sydney to celebrate his natal day.

How I wish I was around, too! How great it would be having to share his happiness on this day for having been blessed with another year! But it's OK. I will always be around in spirit. ;-)

I don't claim to be the perfect girlfriend for my Prince for I have my own misfits, flaws and imperfections. I am still a work in progress and I always wish my Prince the best in everything.

I thank Mummy Carol for raising such an admirable son. She did such a fine job in bringing up such a wonderful son in My Prince.

My heart is overflowing with joy and gratefulness for having been blessed with a beautiful Mahal inside and out. I am such a blessed and lucky soul for out of so many girls trying to get his attention (he! he!), God intervened and chose me for my Prince.  (To know more of my heart's content, read HERE).

Happy, Happy Birthday Mahal Ko!
Looking forward to a life shared with you forever!
Mahal na Mahal Kita!

What's Your Usual Sunday Routine?

For majority of Filipinos like me, Sunday is Family Day. It is the day we usually spend for ourselves and our loveones just at home sitting pretty and relaxing. Some would love to spend their time at the malls or watching movies.
As to my own routine, Sunday kicks off when my alarm rings at 3:30am. I have to force myself to get up from a deep slumber. After thanking God for the blessing of a new day, I have to tidy myself up for my church obligations. Sunday worship service begins at 6am but I need to be there before the clock hits 5am. That is a must for Church Officers.
My time spent for my church duties lasts until 9am. After that, I go home straight. I usually do not go anywhere on Sundays. Not unless if I choose to deviate from this Sunday ritual. I just stay at home and had always kept myself glued on my PC, haha!
Oh yes! Over the years, I have become a certified virtual slave, hahaha! Right after opening the door at home, I immediately head off to where PC is situated and turn it on. Most times, I haven't changed from my church uniform yet. I continue to do my daily routine of hopping, commenting and dropping my cards to fellow EntreCarders. It has become a habit that's so hard to break! Once done, I change my clothes and sleep. Getting a good and quality sleep is what I am deprived of since I got hooked on blogging. That's why I always cherish my Sundays because it's the only time I can get quality sleep.
I would also usually do some chores at home but not that much. I feel useless and guilty at times. It's because we only got 24 hours a day instead of 48 hours, hahaha! Anyways, the day won't end without me and my Prince updating each other on what had transpired for the entire day. That's the sweetest part of it all! I can't afford to have some distractions so the world practically stops when we are both talking. My online chores come to a halt for the duration of our talk and my focus and concentration is only on  him. When he is off to bed, that's the time I attend to all my blogging tasks again- doing opportunities, chatting with blogger friends, drafting some posts that comes to mind in random and finally goes to bed at 10pm.
The routine goes similar each and every Sunday. Quite boring, huh! Sometimes I do get bored and everytime I tell my Prince how boring my day was, he would give me a short retort: "Just blog, Mahal".  I would reply back: "Oh no! I've had enough of blogging!" When those types of conversation takes place, it only means I had no opportunities at hand, and that means no moolah! Hahaha! Since I am no extrovert type of person, I love this type of routine where I could get to express myself freely through my blogs. Some may not like what I write but what the heck! It's a free world! I know I can not please everyone but hey! This is my blog ;-)
Thank you for sticking and may we all have a splendid Sunday everyone!
